Define the risk first
Pickpocketing, bag slashing, accidental loss and visible valuables are different problems. A hidden pouch can reduce visibility, while lockable zippers mainly slow access.
Hidden does not mean comfortable
Anything worn under clothing needs a low profile, soft edges and a strap system that stays flat. Test access to your passport or cash before relying on it during a trip.
Look at zipper access
Rear-facing zippers, covered zipper tracks and lockable pulls can make quick access harder for someone behind you, but they should still be convenient for you.
Do not overload a concealed pouch
A pouch that disappears when carrying a passport and cards may become obvious when stuffed with a phone, power bank and keys.
